Shear Excellence Hair Academy, located in Tampa, FL, one of the Bay area’s premier cosmetology, nail technology and barber schools recently opened in a new location and purchased their salon equipment from SalonSmart. Shear Excellence made replacing its salon chairs and barber chairs a major priority for the new school. For its styling chairs, the academy opted to go with the Messina Styling Chair from Pibbs. These Made in the USA salon chairs feature molded, black urethane arm rest and are upholstered with a quality leatherette. Well-constructed and durable, the Messina was chosen because of its ability to withstand the wear and tear that comes from constant use in a school setting. Shear Excellence coordinated the Messina Styling Chairs with matching Messina Dryer Chairs from Pibbs. The dryer units come with an upgraded American-made dryer. For its barber chair section, the modern hair salon and barber school chose the Pibbs Barbiere Barber Chair. Also Made in the USA, the Barbiere has a leg rest that raises as the chair reclines. It also has a heavy-duty pump and base. Shear Excellence also added Roma Wall Mount Porcelain Bowls along with Manual Recline Shampoo Chairs. The final touch to the school’s new look was the addition of a pedicure spa chairs from J&A Spas USA. Made in the USA, the Pacific AX boasts Shiatsu Massage, auto recline and wood detail on the arms making a great way to educate the nail tech of the future.
